Refresh the evidence.

A destination can be stable — Today, a briefing, a match list — while every fact on it is rented from the system that owns it. Calendar stays the calendar. Weather stays the weather. The surface is not allowed to become a second source of truth.

Composition reads bounded fields through adapters. It does not vacuum the whole record into a new warehouse and pretend that warehouse is now authoritative.

Stale is not a style change

If a domain expires, that domain withholds.

Independent domains can still speak. You do not get last Tuesday’s forecast in a new typeface. You get a hole, and a reason.

Same rule for the model: it reasons over a packet with a horizon, a hop limit, and citations that resolve. Missing required evidence blocks the answer. A contested claim does not get laundered into “decision safe.”

The boundaries

A lab concept with a small public demonstration.
Reads selected fields from their source systems.
Withholds missing or expired evidence instead of presenting it as current.

The craft transfers: notify stacks, RAG, briefings, agent benches. If a view cannot refuse, it will lie eventually. We’d rather the empty cell.
